Our Mission
This website is still under construction. It is intended to help the public and patients locate specialists in their state who are trained to help them significantly reduce their risk of heart attack and stroke.

When completed, it will serve as a directory of a network of dedicated physicians and preventive cardiologists who are board certified in clinical lipidology (advanced cholesterol management).

Passion - Because CVD prevention is more time-consuming and requires acquiring additional skills that you are not taught in medical school. Knowledge - You already possess that; you know more about lipids now than before you passed took the board. Having both Passion and Knowledge do not necessarily mean that you will successfully treat to goal a large percentage of your high risk patients. A clinical management System is needed to treat most patients to numerical treatment goals. PaKS Workshop available in 2011.

Drs. Rolando and Emil deGoma presented their performance data using ACCEPT system for cholesterol and cardiovascular risk management in the annual national meeting of the Society of General Internal Medicine in 2006.

Overall, 85% of high risk men and women were treated of an LDL goal less than 100. This is superior to 4 other published data.

Detailed comparison of the LDL cholesterol level distribution between L-TAP study and Dr. deGoma's practice.

The difference is marked. In L-TAP only 18% (green) were treated successfully, compared to 85% using ACCEPT. ACCEPT is an acronym for A Cholesterol Clinic in Every Practice. With over 40 million high risk Americans eligible for treatment, the only way to treat such a large number to target goals is to empower all adult medical practices to become basic cholesterol clinics by educating physicians and providing them with a practical, MD-friendly, cost-effective management system.

This superior performance is due to PaKS = Passion + Knowledge + System.

ACCEPT clinical management system consists of information management system, patient education program, tracking and follow up system.
